OUR VISION

Vertus Consulting views the implementation of regulatory requirements not just as a means

of maintaining compliance, but an opportunity to create competitive advantage.  Across the

globe, financial institutions, and in particular banks, face an ever increasing volume of new regulation aimed at reducing volatility in financial markets and ultimately preventing another

global financial crisis.

In such environment, a lack of understanding and inability to innovate within the bounds of regulation, may have a significant negative effect on profitability. Vertus seeks to use these

complex and often onerous regulations to create a transparency of risk. This transparency

should be evident not only to the regulator, but to the business whose task it is to maximise

return on this risk.

Too often regulations are not implemented optimally without consideration for the commercial impact. Vertus Consulting brings together the commercial understanding of the business of a

bank, with a technical understanding of regulation. Combined with IT experience and

quantitative ability, our service offering is an end-to-end solution to not just overcoming

regulation but benefitting from it.
